Welcome to More or Less Crafty.  This is a place where you can learn how to create beautiful and/or useful things.
We are a community of artisans creating tutorials for anyone to use.  We want to find the crafter in you!

Lets all get a little more crafty!

I am asking for craft tutorials for all ages and levels of craft ability.  The submitting artisan will get exposure from the marketing of the site, a bio if desired featuring their work, & a link to their Etsy page, Blog, or webpage at the bottom of every tutorial submitted.

What has motivated me:

When you hear “Arts and Crafts” it brings up brings images of handcrafted furniture, metal work, ceramics, and printed or embroidered fabrics.  It doesn’t bring up a movement.  The movement began in Britain more than a century ago and was about much more than art and craft, and its influence is present in our society today.Read more...

Tutorial Contributors:
Whip up:
This website has been created in order to bring the best original and exciting crafts to the attention of many.  To create a community of artists, crafters and makers and share ideas in a central space.

Beadage:
My name is Emma McCreary, and I'm the owner of Beadage. I live in Portland, OR where I run a small web hosting company as well as an e-commerce web design company.
I run this site in my spare time. I created the jewelry tutorials over the years, and now I'm expanding sections like the Jewelry Gallery so people can contribute to the site. My goal is to make Beadage into a comprehensive resource for those who wish to learn more about how to make beaded jewelry.

The Lone Beader:
The Lone Beader is a self-taught bead embroidery artist currently working in Quincy, Massachusetts. She loves to create extremely dimensional relief art by stitching glass seed beads to felt. Many of her beaded paintings are inspired by pop culture, dogs, classic cars, and rock'n'roll music. Join her on a journey and let her beadwork take you for a ride...

Bead Jewelery:
I’ve been writing about jewelry and jewelry making since 2003, when I first became the Fashion Jewelry editor, and later the Jewelry Making editor, at BellaOnline.com. My own jewelry and crafting pursuits are pretty varied, ranging from bead weaving to metal fabrication to beaded macramé.

Submitting Tutorials:

Anyone can submit a tutorial by sending it to tutorial @ moreorlesscrafty.com for review

All tutorials will be reviewed before posted to insure that the tutorial is easy to follow.  I will work with the artisan as much as necessary to produce the tutorial.

Format: My goal is to have all PDF format (if you can't create one I will convert the format you submit).  But if you already have a well written blog I will accept that.

What does the artisan get...
- Exposure from my marketing of the site
- Craft Show Announcements
- A bio on the site if they desire featuring their work
- A link to their Etsy, Blog, or web pages at the bottom every tutorial they submit.
